The basic problem we women face these days in 'Anemia'. We are unaware of this health issue and continue to do our work without a sweat. So today being Womens Day - I do not want to wish just for the sake of wishing. A Healthy recipe that would help us be healthy and fight Anemia!
Lauki - 1 medium size
moong dal - 1/2 cup
1 or 2 dry red chillies
rasam powder ( I use this as i dont have to end up grinding anything.. Just to save time)
Pressure cook lauki (washed, peeled and diced) with moong dal. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, dry red chilly. Add ground rasam powder and let the raw smell go and add the cooked lauki and dal. Add turmeric powder and salt. Bring to boil and then sprinkle some corriander leaves. U can eat with rotis or steamed rice :)
