Paneer Fried Rice

I love Paneer and any dish made with Paneer is my Favourite pick always. Tonight I thought I will make Paneer Fried Rice and also blog this recipe for all of us.

Ingredients: (Serves 3)

2 cups Basmati Rice (wash and dry in a cloth)
cut veggies - Carrots, Beans, Capsicum and onions (You can add any other Vegetable of your choice too)
1 green chilly
1 clove of Garlic
Paneer cut into small cubes
1 teaspoon ghee
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 teaspoon ajinamoto
1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
Turmeric Powder


Method:

Heat the pan with ghee. Add the Basmati rice and roast for few minutes. Cook the rice by adding 4 cups water to it. I keep it on for 3 whistles if cooked in the cooker. Meanwhile toss the paneer with some salt, garam masala and turmeric powder. Fry them in oil and keep aside.

Heat the Pan with oil. Add the garlic, green chilly, onions and capsicum. Add the other cut vegetables and fry for sometime. add ajinamoto, salt and garam masala. Add the cooked rice and fried paneer and stir well. Serve it with shezwan veggies or manchurian.

  1. Looks awesome :) Loooong time since I made paneer fried rice! Try using Shah Jeera in this dish, will add a nice flavour too.
