Dahi Bread

For all those health conscious freaks...try this out. Very low in calories and a tasty snack indeed. This recipe was passed on to me by my school friend whose SIL used to prepare and send for snack to school. Very minimal ingredients and very easy to make.

Bread - Cut the corners and then cut it any shape you want.
Bell Peppers - Remove the seeds and cut into small cubes.
Curd - Take 6 table spoons of curd and tie it in a cloth overnight. This will remove all the excess water in the curd.
chilli powder
garam masala
mustard seeds

Take a bowl and mix the curd, bell peppers, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.

Apply this spread on one slice of the bread. Cover it with the other slice of bread.

Heat a pan and pour 1/4 teaspoon of oil. Put some mustard seed and let them splutter. Immediately place the bread on the mustard seeds so that they stick on to the bread. Once the side is toasted turn it to the other side and toast it as well.

Now you tasty snack is ready to eat. Enjoy it with tomato Ketchup!
